Facilities at Balhagan Equestrian
Our yard is now a BHS Approved Livery Yard 2008.
Although a small yard we pride ourselves on being tidy, caring and providing a personal but professional service to our clients.
Stables are 12ft X12ft complete with soft stall flooring with shavings, automatic drinkers and hay bars.
Individual turnout paddocks not mixed with other horses. Electric fenced with 2 strand high tensile wire with poly-wire extensions. Paddocks cleaned every 2-3 days for worm control. (Worm counts are done on a regular basis).
Good sized post and railed ménage with fine wood grain surface situated 10 metres below ground level giving excellent shelter, complete with a derby bank which is currently under construction.
Jump 4 Joy plastic show jumps with a small range of fillers and safety jump cups.
Excellent Hacking ranging from 45 mins to over 4 hours.
Experienced Horse to hack out with to give confidence.
We are currently in the process of extending our facilites by adding two more 12ft x 12ft and one 12ft x 16ft Stables, Large Tack room/Lecture room, Client Toilet/Cloak room and Feed room.
